Amigo Express Local is a carpooling platform specifically designed for commuting to work, school, or campus. Developed by the Quebec-based company Amigo Express in partnership with several organizations from the Estrie region, its goal is to offer the public a user-friendly and accessible alternative to driving alone, while promoting sustainable mobility across the region.
How it works
1 - Create yout home-to-work/school profile

2 - Find a potential carpool matches
The algorithm compares your route and schedule with those of other Amigo Express Local users. You’ll be matched with people whose commute times and paths are compatible with yours.
3 - Get in touch
Once matches are found, you can contact them directly through the platform. Agree on the meeting point, departure time, and all the practical details to ensure a smooth carpooling experience.
4 - Assemble your crew
Once everything is agreed upon, add your match to your carpool crew. You’ll then have easy access to your crew’s contact info to plan your future rides more efficiently.
