Mobility aids
Devices designed to assist with a walking-related disability. These include manual and electric wheelchairs, three-wheel scooters and four-wheel scooters.

Wheelchairs must comply with recognized manufacturer standards, including having:
- At least four anchors
- A lap belt, without which the user must sit in a vehicle seat, without assistance from the driver or a buddy
Powered wheelchairs (three-wheel and four-wheel scooter types) are allowed on board paratransit vehicles under certain conditions.
Users must:
- For safety reasons, be able to move (transfer) from their wheelchair to the vehicle seat, without help from a driver or buddy
- Accept help from the driver, if the user has trouble moving their chair
- Inform Paratransit services when making the reservation that this particular type of wheelchair will be used
These types of wheelchairs are allowed:
- Depending on the spots available in the vehicle
- If they have at least four anchors
Paratransit services agrees to transport empty wheelchairs under the following conditions:
- For repair purposes only
- If there are spots available on board the vehicle
- Transportation costs are paid for the additional equipment: a single fare
When making the reservation, the user must mention that there will be an empty wheelchair on the trip.
Empty wheelchairs will not be transported if they are not accompanied on board the vehicle by the user.
