INFORMATIONS
**COVID-19**

With the public transit increasing use, different clienteles have been gradually matched. However, measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 continue to comply with those recommended by l’Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), which are the following:

In all our vehicles:

  • Wearing a mask or face covering over the nose and mouth is mandatory when travelling on public transit (buses and taxis) for all people 10 years of age and over;
  • People with an underlying medical condition preventing them from safely wearing a mask or face covering are exempt from this obligation;
  • However, wearing a mask or face covering is recommended for children between 2 and 9 years of age. They aren’t recommended for those under the age of 2;
  • Wearing a mask or face covering over the nose and mouth is also mandatory for all our drivers;
  • Passengers are invited to deposit their transport ticket in collection boxes or cups to avoid skin-to-skin contact;
  • Passengers needing assistance will be aided by a driver wearing gloves, goggles or a face shield, and a mask.

Taxis:

  • Vehicles are disinfected daily after each trip;
  • Passengers are not allowed to sit in the front seat of vehicles;
  • For each taxi company assigning one of its vehicles to transporting people to a screening centre, the transit service will cover the costs incurred by:
  • Installing a plexiglass shield as a physical barrier between the driver and passengers;
  • The purchase of a protective cover for the back seat of the vehicle.

Buses:

  • Vehicles are disinfected daily after each route;
  • Whenever possible, the first-row seats, separating the driver from passengers, remain empty;
  • A passenger not wearing a mask must sit alone;
  • When the number of passengers allows, one passenger per two seats.

We guarantee our passengers a safe trip to the extent of the limits our vehicles’ capacity imposes. Paratransit users are gradually using our service. However, most activity organizers strongly suggest they use individual means of transportation carried out by a residence employee or a relative.
