The region’s municipalities offer tons of activities of all kinds for adults and children. The types of activities available change with the municipality and the seasons.
These activities are a great way to participate in your favourite sports and recreation pastimes and to meet new people and learn more about Quebec culture!
Municipal activities
Municipalities organize and offer activities that cater to a wide range of interests. There are sports and physical activities (dancing, soccer, workouts, swimming, skating and more) and recreation activities (drawing, painting, reading, playing chess, singing, cooking and more).
Most of these activities require you to sign up in advance to participate. Contact your municipality or check out their website to learn more about how to sign up and what activities are on offer near you.
Some municipalities have other fun infrastructure or facilities, such as parks, libraries, bike lanes, movie theatres, theatres and more.
