The Petits établissements accessibles (PEA, or access to small establishments) program aims to improve access to small establishments for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. This program is available to owners and tenants of buildings used as a small business, commercial or community centre that are not subject to a legal obligation regarding accessibility.

More specifically, the purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to qualifying building owners and renters for work that complies with Construction Code accessibility requirements (CQLR, chapter B-1.1, r 2).

Your request for participation in this program must be accompanied by:

• Municipal assessment notice
• Lease (if tenant)
• Authorization of the owner – Participation of the tenant (if tenant)
