PROPERTY ASSESSMENT
Information
The evaluation service of the MRC serves 16 of 21 municipalities in its territory. Its main responsibilities are the updating and creation of property evaluation roles and graphic matrices as well as the establishment of the median proportion. This service ensures a follow-up with the municipalities and taxpayers. The Loi sur la fiscalité municipale tells the evaluator the various parameters to establish what the assets are and the actual values to be given on the evaluation role.
